The reason for writing this is one that upsets us too deeply and we cannot deny our sorrow. But this obituary is intended to pay tribute to Mr. Horst Bräuer, who was the owner and sole managing director of BATEX Technische Textile GmbH until January 31, 2021. He died suddenly and unexpectedly on April 21, 2023
In October, our management system introduced in 2001 according to ISO 9001:2015 was successfully confirmed. The certificate issued is valid until 2025.
As part of the "Saxon Business Succession Action Days", we received a visit from Saxony's Economics Minister Martin Dulig on June 23, 2022. Of course, the focus was on our path in succeeding Mr. Horst Bräuer and the presentation of our company in general and our products in particular.
We didn't greet April with a joke, but with history and enjoyment from the region. A short trip out of our production hall in Bretnig and into the technical museum of ribbon weaving in Großröhrsdorf was the start of the weekend for our employees.
Enforce Tac 2022 - BATEX Technische Textilien GmbH was back as an exhibitor after two years without a trade fair!
Sven Nicolaus and Uwe Kunath have now brought the long search for a successor to a happy end. They acquired the BATEX with the financial help of the Kreissparkasse Bautzen, which relies on a guarantee from the BBS.
