Team event with history & enjoyment

We didn't greet April with a joke, but with history and enjoyment from the region. A short trip out of our production hall in Bretnig and into the technical museum of ribbon weaving in Großröhrsdorf was the start of the weekend for our employees.

A team event has been possible for a long time and we wanted to show our employees part of the history that has shaped our region economically since the 17th century.

Since we process different tapes ourselves, the attention during the one-hour tour was very high. The demonstration of some fully functioning historical machines was particularly impressive.

We gained insights from simple hand looms to modern weaving machines and also got to see a variety of historical ribbons, ribbon patterns and ready-made articles.

We can only recommend everyone to simply take a look at the technical museum of ribbon weaving in Großröhrsdorf. Worth it!

For a cozy end we went to the neighboring town to the Harlekin in Pulsnitz.

We ended the day with a large selection of drinks and delicacies such as waffles, ice cream and cake. History did not stop here either, because the Harlequin is at home in the building of the oldest gingerbread shop, which was founded around 1743 on this site.

We all had fun far away from everyday stress and got to know our region a little better.

Thanks again to Mr. Zöllner for the great tour and demonstration in the museum and to Bob and his staff for the enjoyable hospitality in the Harlekin.
